Singita Sasakwa Lodge

Luxury Resort in Serengeti National Park

About Singita Sasakwa Lodge

Singita Sasakwa Lodge sits on top of Sasakwa Hill inside the 350,000-acre Singita Grumeti Reserve in northern Tanzania. The reserve borders Serengeti National Park directly, placing guests inside the same ecosystem. Lions, leopards, elephants, cheetahs, and buffalo move freely across this private concession year-round.

The lodge is built in the style of an Edwardian manor house. Stone columns, wraparound verandas, and rolling lawns face out over the endless Serengeti plains. The design blends colonial-era detail – antiques, silver candelabras, parquet floors – with African artefacts and tribal textiles. It feels deliberately grand but never stiff.

Accommodation

The lodge offers:

  • Private Cottages – ten spacious cottages in one, two, three, and four-bedroom configurations, each with a private infinity plunge pool and veranda
  • Hillside Suite – a standalone one-bedroom suite with private pool, dedicated butler, private game vehicle, and direct Serengeti views
  • Family Cottages – four cottages configured for families, with separate sleeping areas and full butler service

Each unit is designed for complete privacy and comfort between game drives.
