Tour Overview
This 10-day trip covers two very different sides of Tanzania. The first half takes you through the northern safari circuit, starting with Tarangire National Park, moving through the Ngorongoro highlands and into the crater, then heading west into the Serengeti before looping back via Lake Manyara. Six days across four parks gives you a proper look at Tanzania’s wildlife without feeling rushed between destinations.
The second half is Zanzibar. After a short flight from the mainland, the pace shifts completely. Stone Town offers a walk through centuries of Swahili, Arab, and colonial history packed into narrow streets and old buildings. The days that follow are yours to use as you like, whether that means the beach, the water, the local food, or simply doing nothing at all before the flight home.

Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival and Tarangire National Park Safari
Arrive at Kilimanjaro Airport and drive to Tarangire National Park. Start with a game drive through landscapes filled with baobab trees and open plains.
You may see elephants, lions, leopards, cheetahs and buffalo. After the safari, transfer to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2: Tarangire to Ngorongoro via Karatu
After breakfast, travel towards the Ngorongoro region with a stop at a farm stay in Karatu. This area offers a quieter setting with gardens and views of the countryside.
Spend some time relaxing before continuing to your lodge near Ngorongoro. Check in and enjoy the evening at leisure.
Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater Safari
Start early and descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a full day game drive. This area has one of the highest concentrations of wildlife.
You may see lions, elephants, buffalo, wildebeest and good chances of spotting rhino. Birdlife is also rich around water areas. After the safari, return to your lodge.
Day 4: Transfer to Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, drive to Serengeti National Park through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The landscape gradually opens into wide plains.
On arrival, check in at your lodge or camp and spend the rest of the day at leisure.
Day 5: Serengeti Game Drive
Spend the day exploring Serengeti with game drives across different regions. The park is known for its large predator population.
You may see lions, leopards, elephants, buffalo and large herds of wildebeest and zebras. Return to your lodge in the evening.
Day 6: Serengeti to Lake Manyara
After breakfast, drive to Lake Manyara National Park. On arrival, enjoy a game drive in this forest and lake based ecosystem.
You may see elephants, baboons, flamingos and, with luck, tree climbing lions. After the safari, check in at your lodge.
Day 7: Transfer to Zanzibar
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight to Zanzibar. On arrival, transfer to your hotel.
Spend the rest of the day at leisure. You can visit nearby beaches or relax at your stay.
Day 8: Zanzibar Sightseeing
Go for a guided tour of Zanzibar. Visit Stone Town, known for its history and architecture.
Continue to nearby coastal areas and islands for beach views and optional water activities. Return to your hotel for overnight stay.
Day 9: Leisure Day in Zanzibar
Spend the day at your own pace. You can visit beaches, explore local areas or relax at your hotel.
Optional visits to conservation centres or historic sites can be done during the day.
Day 10: Departure
After breakfast, check out from your hotel and transfer to the airport for your return journey.

- If cancellation requested before 30 to 44 days prior to departure – 25% of the tour cost will be refunded.
- If cancellation requested before 15 to 29 days prior to departure – 10% of the tour cost will be refunded.
