Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival at Walvis Bay and Transfer to Pelican Point
On arrival at Walvis Bay, you are transferred to Pelican Point Lodge, located on a remote peninsula between the Atlantic Ocean and the lagoon. The drive itself is scenic, with views of sand, sea and birdlife along the way.
After check in, enjoy a three course lunch followed by high tea. The rest of the afternoon is free to relax, walk around the lodge or watch seals nearby. Dinner is served at the lodge in the evening.
Day 2: Kayaking with Seals and Sunset Experience
Start the day with breakfast before heading out for a guided kayaking session in the lagoon. You paddle in calm waters while seals swim close by and birds move across the shoreline.
Return to the lodge for lunch and some rest. In the late afternoon, head out for a guided sunset drive across the peninsula. The light during this time is ideal for photos. Snacks and drinks are served during the stop. Dinner follows at the lodge.
Day 3: Peninsula Drive and Coastal Experience
After breakfast, go on a guided drive across the peninsula. This includes views of desert terrain, coastal stretches and old shipwreck remains. The guide shares details about the area and its wildlife.
You return for lunch at the lodge. Later in the evening, depending on weather, dinner may be arranged on the beach with a simple setup near the ocean. If not, dinner is served indoors.
Day 4: Leisure and Optional Activities
