Sossusvlei Lodge is located just outside Namib-Naukluft National Park at the Sesriem Gate. The lodge sits at the edge of the Namib Desert. This area supports oryx, springbok, and ostrich. The location allows early entry into the dune fields.
The lodge features stone and thatch chalets arranged along a dry riverbed. Units face the surrounding desert landscape. Pathways connect rooms to the main lodge area. The design combines natural materials with a structured layout.

Location and How to Reach
Sossusvlei Lodge is located at the Sesriem Gate of Namib-Naukluft National Park.
- By air – Fly to Sesriem Airstrip, followed by a short transfer
- By road – Drive from Windhoek via Sesriem to the park entrance
The lodge arranges transfers from the airstrip for guests.
