About Ruzizi Tented Lodge
Ruzizi Tented Lodge is located inside Akagera National Park near the southern entrance in eastern Rwanda. The lodge sits along the shores of Lake Ihema. This area supports hippo, crocodile, and birdlife. The landscape includes wetlands and acacia woodland.
The lodge features canvas tents set among trees along the lakeshore. Each unit is raised on a wooden platform. Decks face the lake and surrounding vegetation. The design follows a low-impact eco approach.

- By air – Fly to Kigali International Airport, then continue by road
- By road – Drive from Kigali to the southern gate of Akagera, then proceed inside the park
Transfers can be arranged from Kigali to the lodge.
